Norton Sound Health Corporation is organized in four sections: Community Health Services, Hospital Services, Human Resources and Finance. The President & CEO, as well as General Counsel, report directly to the Board of Directors. Direct reports to the President & CEO include the Chief Operations Officer, Vice President Community Health Services, Vice President Hospital Services, Chief Financial Officer, Human Resources Director, Patient Advocacy and Self Governance.
The departments under Community Health Services are the Patient Hostel; GOCODAN; Prematernal Home; Public Health Nursing; Rainbow Services; Women, Infants and Children; Environmental Health; Village Health Services; Health Aide Training Center; Injury Prevention Program; Infant Learning Program; Tribal Healer Program; and Behavioral Health Services. Village Based Counseling and Kusqi House are within Behavioral Health Services.
Hospital Services include Medical Staff, Laboratory, Social Services, Maintenance, Dental, Nutrition Services, Physical Therapy, Maintenance, Audiology, Eye Care; Radiology, CAMP, Emergency Medical Services, Pharmacy, Environmental Services, Respiratory Therapy and Nursing Administration. Within Nursing Administration are Inpatient Unit, Quyanna Care Center, Employee Health/Infection Control and Outpatient Clinic. Maternal Child Health is managed by the Outpatient Clinic. Environmental Services includes Security, Housekeeping, Laundry and Patient Observation.
Finance comprises Health Information Management, Information Systems, Patient Financial Services, Materials Management and Accounting. Materials Management includes communications and central supply, while Accounting includes Corporate Housing and Grants.
Human Resources includes Benefits Administration, Recruitment, Employee Relations and Education and Training.
