BRIEF SUMMARY |
To provide a safe and comfortable living environment for patients awaiting deliver at the Prematernal Home. Work will be performed in accordance with NSHC's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures under the direction of the MCH Coordinator. Ensures that there is an adequate supply of groceries and that meals are prepared. Ensures that clients abide by Prematernal Home policies and procedures. Participates in facilitating patient's and family's learning throughout the care experience in preparation for discharge. Reinforces patient's continued health care through teaching and/or referral to community agency follow-up. |
| QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: |
Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Six months of demonstrated work experience required preferably in health care setting. Skills: Good organizational skills. Medical and/or education background helpful. Understanding of the cultures of the area and their impact on clients is essential. Demonstrate professionalism, consideration and confidentiality towards others in stressful situations. |
