No COVID-19 Cases Identified on Wednesday
Nome, Alaska –Norton Sound Health Corporation identified zero new COVID-19 cases in the region on Wednesday, May 25.
There are currently eight active cases in the region: six are in Nome and two are in Unalakleet.
Anyone in the region can get tested for COVID-19, and anyone 5 years and older can be vaccinated.
If you need to be seen by a nurse or physician, the Cough and Cold Clinic is available for testing every day in Nome. It is located on the first floor of the hospital and is open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekends. You can call the direct line to the clinic at (907) 443-3231.
In Nome, COVID-19 vaccinations are available at the NSHC Pharmacy: walk in Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. In the village, please contact your clinic.
