Event Navigation

(40 hours) – Students must be at least 14 years of age and have a current BLS card, class will be run in hybrid fashion where much of the coursework will be completed online and then an in person skills session will happen. Online course will happen starting September 27th, this is a study-at-your-own-pace course. The only required Zoom meetings are at 6pm on Tuesdays (9/28, 10/5 & 10/12) throughout the class which will be an opportunity to ask questions. Students will have just under 3 weeks to complete the online course work and then will be required to participate in the in person skills session in Nome at the WTC room 225 on October 16th and 17th from 8-5 each day. This earns students a 2 year ETT certification. With this certification, a person can volunteer with the ambulance service, and these skills are also just very important life skills.

Anyone in the region can get tested for COVID-19, and vaccinations are now available to everyone 12 years and older.
