Nutrition Services

The dedicated staff of the Nutrition Services Department provides daily meals that are enjoyed by patients, visitors, and employees. All staff members are certified food handlers. The public is welcome to enjoy meals at the Norton Sound Regional Hospital’s Fireweed Café.

 

The Fireweed Café is open Monday-Friday
Breakfast: 8am – 10:30am
Lunch / Grab & GO: 11am – 4pm
Supper: 4:30pm – 6 pm

 

Every weekday, the Fireweed Café offers a fresh-cut fruit bar at breakfast, a salad bar at lunch and a well-balanced main course. You can also find a variety of convenience foods and beverage selection available.

 

For NSHC Employees, the Fireweed Café now has the ability for staff to utilize their NSHC badges to make purchases at the register! To add money to your badge, you can pay with a credit card at the register, pay with cash, or choose payroll deduction. It will take 24-48 hours to process your payment in order to utilize your badge.
